Hello Bloggy Family and Happy Nevada Day to my fellow Nevadans.
It is going to be a busy day. First we have to run to the Smith’s. They are having a Mega 10 event. I can’t pass up on the great deals.
Next we will be finishing up my sis n laws costume… Its almost done along with my bloody nubs, just kidding its not that bad. I’ll be sure and come back to post a pic of the Mummy.. muahhhaaahhhhaaahhh
Than we have to carve our mega pumpkins. Well they are mega to us. The house will stink of pumpkin guts and there will be seeds forever. We are going to try and save the seeds to back for our nibbling pleasure. Anyone have a good recipe?
Saturday morning my son has his first playoff game. How exciting, I love popwarner! Go Ravens!!!
Finally we will get to trick or treat. The plan is to trick or treat for an hour and pass out candy for another hour, the kids LOVE doing that!

I fail this year at a pumpkin….last year….I totally rocked one with a carved witch on it….she was riding a broomstick! This year….FAIL! However, a great recipe for the seeds is soak them overnight in salt water (lots of salt!!!) drain, lightly coat with olive oil and salt, bake until they are golden (400 deg I think? for 30 minutes? Maybe?) and OMG are they yummy! All from memory…and my memory fails…BLAH!
