Hello Bloggy Family,

It has been an eventful weekend.  My son played his championship game on Saturday.  What a time to experience their first loss, the team was heart broken to say the least.  We passed out at 8pm that night; recovering from the emotions and the severe chill that was in the air.

Fit Buddy

Well, I am proud to say I managed to eat well all week.  By doing the following:

  • Made healthy food choices
  • Chose smaller portions
  • Did NOT go back for seconds

I was also able to stay active as much as possible:

  • Did TaeBo one day
  • Rode exercise bike
  • Stretched
  • Used my exercise bands

I noticed I was full faster or satisfied.  I felt good about my choices.

So from Monday to Monday I lost 5 good pounds.   What do I mean by good?  Well I didn’t starve myself, eat zero carbs, or exercise rigorously.  I did things in moderation and made sensible choices.

Some things I would like to improve on?  Getting more water/fluids.  For some reason this takes great effort, don’t know why I LOVE water.  I also need to decrease my caffeine!  There is just way too much caffeine consumption going on and I think after a certain point, it is just plain unhealthy!
