JumpStart has a new game for the Wii console and my kiddos were some happy campers getting to check it out before its public release.
It has great learning games for ages 5-9 years old. But I’ll tell you a little secret, my oldest daughter kept saying “Mom, I’m 13 and this game is so fun.”
The graphics on this game were excellent…. There are several learning levels in the game, we chose easy for my ballerina all the way up to hard for my oldest.
One level has our adventurer flying in her space suit to specified letters. Like find the word that ends in “S”. Or find the verb.

Another great level has our adventurer finding answers to math problems or the spelling of numbers.

There are over 150 learning games that help with Math, Reading and Critical Thinking Skills. This is an excellent game that makes learning FUN! And that is a big help isn’t it? I definitely recommend this newest installment from the totally cool folks at JumpStart.com. I can’t say enough good things about this game.

Our family likes to talk about other places that we may someday like to travel. For example we’ll take turns, describing what our thoughts of how Africa or Hawaii would look like.
We also like to play pretend and make out that we’re visiting those places. One snowy day last winter, we (along with my young niece), set out a beach blanket in our family room. We had ice cream and we pretended we were at the beach. We talked about seeing the ocean and the birds in the sky. It was really quite fun.
Thanks so much for this wonderful giveaway.
Hi There,
I forwarded your post over to the blog at JumpStarts Blog
These are some wonderful ideas!
We simply do it by going out for family photography sessions in the weekends.
Sometimes, we’ll go to theme parks.
