We found some neat felt cut outs at one of our Dollar Trees. There were various shapes and colors. The ones I found were over 12″ tall and I thought these would look great as wall decor and a fun craft for the kids to make.
We only needed the felt ornament, Elmer’s glue and glitter, which were were able to get at the dollar store except the Elmer’s we had that on hand.

I laid out newspaper all over the table thinking it would help keep the glitter off the floor, LOL Yea right Momma! Oh I am funny sometimes.
Gave the kids their ornaments, glue, glitter and they went to town. They only seemed to need my help to unclog the dried up glue.

My teenager isn’t in the pics because she is at a TSO concert with her Aunties, Uncle & Cousins.
The kids were pretty glitter heavy so on a couple of occasions we ran out of glitter. At that point all we did was fold the newspaper the ornaments were on and tilted it over the glitter container and they were ready to continue on. Here are the finished products:

That’s it. The kids were really into it! Have fun with your next craft.

These look great and inexpensive. Thank you for sharing this craft idea. I see future christmas gifts for grandparents from my kids. They love making their gifts…
Thanks again
Oh that sounds neat. Every year the grandparents get to use it! Your very welcome, thanks for that idea.
They look great, and ditto on the gifts for grandparents
Those are so awesome!! You found them at Dollar Tree? That is WAY cool…very neat find and way to dress them up!
What a great Christmas craft! I’ve been looking for something the kids could make for grandparents this year {so we’re not doing the same thing every year}. Thanks so much for this idea!
