My daughter taught me the trick of erasing the world impossible. When we try to explain her why something is really not possible at all, She simply gives an impossible solution and says “Why not?”, Of course, she is not street smart, but her creativity gives us a big shot on the arm!

My son has taught me so much I don’t know where to start. He has the biggest heart in the world and can never understand why a person would ever want to hurt another person. He has taught me how to be a better person, how to look at everyone and see the good in everything and treat everyone the respect that I myself would want.

When I was pregnant with my first, other moms were always telling me to ‘enjoy them while they are young because they grow up too fast’ and it’s so true!

I was told to sleep when you’re not tired and eat when you’re not hungry when you have kids. I didn’t fully understand that until I had more than one!

When i was in jr. high, my Dad gave me a pamphlet from a brokerage company. It repeated one of his life rules – pay yourself first.

an older man i worked with once told me that people just don’t get it–when it comes to life and always being miserable and stressed out–you just need to enjoy it while you’re here and he’s right

The best insight I’ve received is to look at things simply and appreciate them for what they are

When my nephew was 4 years old he stayed with me one day. He was having a rough day, and I’d had to fuss at him a few times, which was very rare. We decided at one point to go for a walk, and as we walked, mostly quiet, he let out a deep and troubled sigh, and then said, “Man, I am just not livin’ my life today!” I thought it was one of the most profound things I’d ever heard! Leave it to a four-year-old to understand that life it too short for bad moods!!
